Background

Client #5 is a premium over 55 community located in Tucson, AZ. Client #5’s amenities include two championship golf courses with separate pro shops, multiple dining amenities, pools, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts.

The HOA engaged Invited Club Management for help with golf operations, golf course maintenance, membership sales and marketing. Client #5 has struggled to generate sufficient cash flows and compete with the HOA One golf club. Additionally, there has been inconsistency in their Passholder Membership, managing the daily fee rates as well as their punch card option. The Client #5 golf course will undergo a renovation and will close for 6 months in 2023. The Club is in dire need of a strategy to keep the annual passholders committed to renewing for the upcoming season despite this course closure.

Tactics

  • Implemented Invited Club Management’s purchasing program throughout the golf facility including fertilizers, chemicals, equipment, and supplies, driving significant cost savings

  • Created a strategy to enroll passholder for the 2023 season earlier than in years past with an incentive program, additional reciprocal benefits, and added programming at the club golf course

  • Leveraged strong regional support, including agronomy, sales & marketing, and operational support to improve product quality

  • Utilized tracking systems and unique landing pages to track the success of printed ad campaigns and recommended a new strategy for 2023

  • Launched the Club’s first comprehensive lead generation marketing campaign to drive awareness in the local market and created best practices for prospecting and follow-ups

  • Implemented Invited Club Management PlayAway reciprocity program, adding additional value to the Club’s membership via extended benefits and privileges at over 400+ clubs nationwide

  • Created ambassador program with golf committee to welcome new homeowners and create an additional lead-generation source
